Bring the flavours of India into your home and join us for an Indian Wine and Food experience. Taste three Indian wines with the famous Indian street food Gol Gappa on Friday 9th April at 8pm via Zoom.

The name Gol Gappa refers to the crisp sphere, (Gol), that is placed in the mouth and eaten, (Gappa), one at a time; they are an all-time favourite Indian snack. Gols are usually filled with a mixture of potatoes, chickpea, tangy and sweet water, mint and spices…..delicious!

Full instructions will be provided on how you can create your very own Gol Gappa, with advice on where to purchase the ingredients. Alternatively, a pack can be sent to you (£10 optional extra at checkout) with the specialty ingredients included to help with culinary endeavours!

Alongside the Gol Gappa we will be tasting three Indian wines under the guidance of Andrea Hargrave Master of Wine.

Grover Art Collection Sauvignon Blanc

A tropical style of Sauvignon Blanc, with intense nuances of grapefruit, pineapple, guava and freshly cut herbs on the nose. Intensely flavoursome on the palate with typical Sauvignon characteristics shining through. A great depth of flavour and a wonderful mouth-feel.

Reveilo Grillo

Made from a little-known Italian grape variety grown in India! A bouquet of citrus, lemon, orange and grapefruit. It is a medium bodied wine with crisp acidity, a long mineral finish with a hint of sweetness.

Reveilo Cabernet Sauvignon

An extremely powerful bouquet with typical fragrances of black fruit and cassis, complimented by light green pepper notes. A complex palate with cassis and smoke and well-integrated tannins. A very long and persistent finish.
